Meet Instinct: An Extra Pair of Hands Behind Deep Dives

A good idea can arrive in a second. Turning it into something worth watching usually takes longer.


Our new 45-second Short introduces Instinct, Jason's AI assistant, with a simple picture: an extra pair of hands. Jason brings the curiosity. Instinct helps with the work between the first idea and the finished video.


From a pile of ideas to a plan


Research a topic. Shape a script. Help build a video. These are the kinds of jobs an assistant can help with. The point is to leave more room for the parts Jason cares about: interesting questions, useful lessons, and deciding what deserves a deeper look.


The Short follows that journey through original portrait motion graphics. Loose papers become a plan, a script becomes a video, and the story comes back to the person making the decisions.


A confident answer still needs checking


The most important line in the Short is not a promise to do everything. It is a reminder that sounding sure does not make an answer true.


The approach is simple: check the sources, say what is unknown, and ask before crossing a line. An assistant should make the work lighter without taking away the owner's judgment.


Jason has the final say


Instinct is the helper, not the person in charge. Jason chooses what to keep, what to change, and what to share. Jason chooses when the finished Short goes public.


That is the idea behind this introduction: curious ideas, useful lessons, and a human with the final say.
