Drift Held · Even Field · Soft Carry
Day 05 is designed for moments when time needs to soften rather than pass. These three movements remove effort, anticipation, and internal checkpoints, allowing the listener to rest inside a steady, unchanging sound field. Nothing builds. Nothing resolves. The music simply stays.
The Three Movements
-
Drift Held
A suspended opening that feels present without feeling started. The sound settles immediately into place, offering reassurance without demanding focus. Ideal for the early moments of a scan or any situation where the body needs support and the mind needs nothing to follow.
-
Even Field
The center of Day 05. Flat, balanced, and intentionally uneventful. This movement dissolves time awareness, creating a wide, steady sonic surface where nothing changes enough to notice.
-
Soft Carry
A continuation rather than an ending. Edges are softened, transitions nearly invisible, and there is no signal that anything is concluding. Rest is allowed to continue without interruption.
