PUNTA CANA · IN 2 DAYS · SIDE QUEST MODE

Team Jellie’s “Catch-Them-All” Resort Drink Quest

We haven’t even landed yet and we’re already acting like the resort is a board game map. This is the advanced version: every bar, lounge, café, and restaurant drink stop we can reasonably touch at Secrets Royal Beach + Dreams Royal Beach—with map numbers—so we can slap a sticker down and say, “Yep. Cleared it.”

Not because we have to. Because we want to. There’s a difference. And it tastes better.

How it works

One sticker per location. A “drink” can be a cocktail, a wine pour, a beer, an espresso, or a “we are standing here with intent” vibe-check. No minimum time. No guilt. No hustle.

RULE
Walk in → order (or coffee) → 3–5 minutes → move on when it feels right.
NOTE
Restaurants count. Coffee counts. Waiting bars count. This is the full map clear.

Why we’re doing it

Big resorts can feel like you’re living inside a beautiful maze. The fastest way to feel “at home” is collecting small wins: we know where this is, we’ve been here, this one’s our vibe.

GOAL
Touch every spot once. Return to favorites without pressure.
BONUS
We’ll combine this planning post with the “we actually did it” recap into one full read later.

Secrets Royal Beach — Drink Stops (Map-Numbered)

These are the places we can reliably get a drink (or coffee) and earn a sticker. Each one gets one tiny fun fact—because we’re 48 hours out and our brains are already on island time.

  • #5
    Rendezvous Bar (Lobby)

This is the “vacation turns on” switch. If we look slightly confused on day one, this is where we pretend it’s confidence.

Sticker tip: perfect first stop after check-in.
  • #22
    Sugar Reef Bar

Any bar near the water automatically upgrades the drink by 12% (unverified science, strongly felt).

Sticker tip: quick pop-in while roaming the beach path.
  • #27
    Barracuda / Freshco Pool Bar

The social hub bar. The soundtrack is laughter, splashing, and at least one person who packed “vacation confidence.”

Sticker tip: hit it mid-day when the pool energy is awake.
  • #29
    Manatees Swim-Up Bar

This is the only place where ordering a drink counts as “not leaving the pool,” which is basically peak efficiency.

Sticker tip: one shared drink = one sticker. No one needs two laps.
  • #11
    Showtime Bar

Daytime Showtime and nighttime Showtime are different creatures. We’re counting both with one sticker because we’re not monsters.

Sticker tip: easy add-on before/after the theater.
  • #34
    Preferred Club Bar

The “lower volume, higher vibe” stop. If the resort had a whisper setting, this is it.

Sticker tip: best paired with a slow, smug exhale.
  • #35
    Preferred Club Pool Bar

Swim-up, but in Preferred Club energy: less cannonball, more “we are floating respectfully.”

Sticker tip: bring the sticker sheet in a zip bag. Trust me.
  • #36
    Preferred Club Lounge

The reset room. Five minutes here can fix your whole day and your posture.

Sticker tip: schedule this like a “calm checkpoint.”
  • #24
    Drifters Lazy River Bar

You don’t arrive here. You drift into it like the universe intended. Our most on-brand mode of travel.

Sticker tip: count “we floated past and waved” as presence.
  • #8
    Eclipse Night Club Bar

Late-night energy in a bottle. This is where “just one” turns into “we’re absolutely fine.”

Sticker tip: do this after dinner when the lights change.
  • #9
    Theater (Bar Service)

The easiest sticker of the week—because entertainment naturally pulls you here without you trying.

Sticker tip: pre-show sip counts. Post-show sip counts. Life is short.
  • #32
    Marlin Bar (Beach)

This one is pure “walk-by magic.” If the beach air hits right, we stop. That’s the policy.

Sticker tip: quick stop on a long beach walk.
  • #58
    Towel Kiosk (Bar Service)

A tiny “in-motion” drink source. The resort equivalent of finding a secret vending machine for grownups.

Sticker tip: perfect when we’re already headed somewhere.
  • #66
    Veranda Bar

The pre-dinner gathering zone. The bar that exists specifically for “we’re early and we’re thriving.”

Sticker tip: hit it right before restaurant time.
  • #70
    Dolce (Wine/Cocktails)

If there’s a place that whispers “wine bar energy,” it’s this. We will absolutely act sophisticated for 11 minutes.

Sticker tip: do a “tasting sip” and call it culture.
  • #72
Market Café / Portofino (Drink Service)

This is the “food zone” where drink service hides in plain sight. We’re counting it because we respect the buffet bar stations.

Sticker tip: grab a quick drink even if we’re “just walking through.”
  • #15
    Himitsu (Drink Service)

Pan-Asian flavors + bar energy. If we find sake or a signature cocktail, that sticker is basically guaranteed.

Sticker tip: pair with “we earned dinner.”
  • #14
    Bordeaux (Drink Service)

French dinner energy means wine-forward vibes by default. We will absolutely say “ooh” at something on the menu.

Sticker tip: take a photo of the wine list if it’s good.
  • #13
    Bluewater Grill (Drink Service)

Steakhouse bar service: the place where cocktails suddenly feel “serious” in a button-up way.

Sticker tip: the bartender here is usually a pro. Ask what’s popular.
  • #12
    El Patio (Drink Service)

This is where tequila does its best work. If there’s a margarita, we will respect it properly.

Sticker tip: lime counts as a vegetable. Vacation math.
  • #64
    Oceana (Drink Service)

Seafood + wine + ocean nearby is the kind of combo that makes you feel like you’re in a commercial—on purpose.

Sticker tip: do a “sunset drink” here if timing allows.
  • #7
    Coco Café (Coffee + Liqueurs)

Coffee counts. Espresso counts. “Just one more pastry” also counts, emotionally.

Sticker tip: morning sticker = instant morale boost.
  • #31
    Barefoot Grill (Drink Service)

Casual food + drink service = perfect “we’re between things” stop. Also: this is a Team Jellie mandatory hot-dog moment.

Sticker tip: quick lunch + drink = low effort, high payoff.

Dreams Royal Beach — Drink Stops (Map-Numbered)

Dreams is part of the “advanced” clear because there are real drink spots here—bars, cafés, and restaurants—worth counting. We’re touching them all at least once. Sticker first. Favorite later.

  • #51
    Blue Dorado Bar

This is a classic “daytime anchor” bar. If we’re roaming, this is an easy “yep, we were here” sticker.

Sticker tip: hit it when the pool area is active.
  • #55
Sea Legs / The Grotto Bar

Two vibes in one: seaside energy + tucked-in shade. The kind of place that makes you forget your phone exists.

    Sticker tip: perfect mid-afternoon cooldown.
  • #59
    Hideaway Bar

The name is the whole pitch. If this bar had a personality, it would say, “shhh… you’re doing great.”

Sticker tip: a short stop counts. Hideaway doesn’t demand anything.
  • #61
Tides Pool Side Grill & Bar

Food nearby means drink decisions get bolder. This is where “we’ll just snack” becomes a full event.

Sticker tip: do this when hunger appears unexpectedly.
  • #50
    Interlude Bar

A chapter-break bar. The kind of stop where the day ends gently instead of abruptly.

Sticker tip: sunset hour is the power hour.
  • #41
    Motor Lobby Bar

Lobby bars are underrated. They’re where you can look “put together” even if you just wandered in from the heat.

Sticker tip: easiest late-night “last stop.”
  • #45
    Coco Café (Coffee + Liqueurs)

Coffee is a legal performance enhancer for vacation. Espresso in the morning, “dessert drink” later—same sticker.

Sticker tip: do this early; it makes the whole day feel possible.
  • #63
    World Café (Drink Service)

Buffet bars are the stealth MVPs. You think you’re just getting food… and then suddenly you’re holding a drink like a champion.

Sticker tip: lunch buffet = easy sticker.
  • #57
    Seaside Grill (Drink Service)

Grill + drink service is the vacation equivalent of “we made a good decision.” Even if it was accidental.

Sticker tip: pair with a walk afterward and pretend it was planned.
  • #62
    Fusion Restaurant (Drink Service)

The restaurant where you go to feel like you have refined taste, even if you ate a beach burger at noon.

Sticker tip: do this as a “date-night” checkpoint.
  • #64
    Oceana (Drink Service)

Yes, we’re counting it here too because the map calls it out. Seafood spots tend to have the “wine list energy.”

Sticker tip: if there’s a signature cocktail, that’s our sticker moment.
  • #65
    Mezes Restaurant (Drink Service)

Small plates + drinks is basically “snack strategy.” This place exists for tasting, and we respect that.

Sticker tip: do one shared drink and keep moving.
  • #71
    Pizzeria (Drink Service)

If we end up here late, it means we won the day. Pizza + drink is a victory lap in edible form.

Sticker tip: late-night = easiest sticker.
  • #72
Market Café / Portofino (Drink Service)

Yes, we’re counting it here too because the map does. The entire point is “catch them all,” not “make it tidy.”

Sticker tip: grab a quick drink even if it’s a pass-through.
  • #76
    The Reef (Drink Service)

Newer zone energy. These are the places that feel “fresh” and make you want to sit down even when you didn’t plan to.

Sticker tip: explore this zone once and stack a few stickers nearby.
  • #77
    The Splash Bar

A bar that basically exists to make pool time easier. If this stop feels effortless, it’s working correctly.

Sticker tip: do it right after The Reef if you’re nearby.
  • #78
    That’s a Wrap (Drink Service)

The snack stop that sounds like a mic drop. If we end up here, it means we’re living correctly.

Sticker tip: perfect “between activities” checkpoint.
  • #70
    Dolce (Drink Service)

Yes, again. This is the one place we might “accidentally” revisit three times and call it research.

Sticker tip: if we find a wine bar moment here, document it.

Come with us

We’ll turn this planning post into a full “we actually did it” recap once we’re there — favorites, surprises, and the one stop that somehow becomes our unofficial headquarters. If you want the travel + AI + real-life systems vibe, follow along:

Two days. That’s it.
Right now we’re still in the land of coats and car warm-ups… but mentally? We’re already holding a sticker sheet and walking toward the first bar like it owes us closure.
