ULTIMATE CINCINNATI BAR CRAWL: Secret Speakeasies & Historic Taverns You NEED to Visit! 🍹

Hey wanderlusters! Ashley here, and I'm PUMPED to take you on the most epic Cincinnati bar crawl you've ever seen! 👋

[drone shot of Cincinnati skyline with Ohio River]

When I travel, I'm all about finding those hidden gems and authentic experiences that tell the TRUE story of a city. And Cincinnati? This place is LOADED with incredible history, amazing food, and some seriously cool bars that most tourists completely miss!

[walking shot through downtown Cincinnati with GoPro]

So today, I'm sharing two AMAZING routes that'll take you through the best bars in Cincinnati - from America's oldest taverns to secret underground speakeasies! Let's goooo! 🙌

ROUTE ONE: THE HIDDEN GEMS TOUR

[transition with map animation showing the route]

First stop: O'MALLEY'S IN THE ALLEY! This place is Cincinnati's second-oldest bar, guys - dating back to 1892!

[footage entering the narrow alley entrance]

Look at this hidden entrance! Most people walk right past this every day without knowing what they're missing. The inside is all original wood panels and has this INCREDIBLE authentic vibe that you just can't fake.

You HAVE to order their famous Alley Club Sandwich. Trust me on this one - it's legendary for a reason!

Next up is something SPECIAL... GHOST BABY! This might be the coolest speakeasy I've ever visited - and I've been to speakeasies in 37 countries!

[footage descending underground stairs]

This place is literally FOUR STORIES underground in former beer lagering tunnels from the 1800s! How crazy is that?! The entrance is super discreet - just a small sign on Vine Street that most people miss completely.

When you order their signature Hydromel cocktail, ask the bartender about the hidden entrance. They'll tell you some amazing stories about this place's history!

ROUTE TWO: HISTORIC CINCINNATI

[transition with map animation showing second route]

If you're more into historic vibes, you NEED to check out Arnold's Bar & Grill - Cincinnati's OLDEST continuously operating bar, opened in 1861!

[footage entering Arnold's with tin ceiling visible]

Look at that original tin ceiling from the 1800s! During Prohibition, they actually hid bathtubs upstairs to make bathtub gin. And yes - one of those tubs is STILL there as decoration!

[close-up of Big Boy burger]

Their Big Boy burger is absolutely TO DIE FOR. This is the kind of authentic American tavern experience that's disappearing fast, so enjoy it while you can!

For the BEST skyline views in the city, head to the AC Upper Deck at The Banks. This rooftop spot gives you those Instagram-worthy panoramas of the Ohio River and downtown Cincinnati.

[time-lapse of sunset from the rooftop]

Pro tip: Get here about an hour before sunset to grab a good spot, then watch as the entire city transforms with golden hour light. MAGICAL.

WHICH ROUTE SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?

Both routes start at the same place - Howell Avenue in Cincinnati. Route One is more concentrated in the Over-the-Rhine district with its hipster vibes and creative energy. Route Two gives you that perfect mix of historic Cincinnati with some modern touches.

[split-screen showing contrasting vibes of both areas]

Honestly? If you've got the time, do BOTH! Each offers a completely different perspective on this amazing city.
